Airliner crew flies 150 miles past airport…..DOH……
This has to be the most moronic thing done in the air by any flight crew in recent memory, especially considering all the technology in the world is great and all, but it doesn’t land the plane when everyone’s asleep at the joystick as happened here Thursday night….. injecting fears of a 911 repeat as these people overshot their destination by a hundred and fifty miles!!!

WASHINGTON (CNN) – A Northwest Airlines flight from San Diego, California, overshot the Minneapolis, Minnesota, airport by about 150 miles Wednesday evening, and federal investigators are looking into whether the pilots had become distracted, as they claimed, or perhaps fell asleep. more
