SUCCESS!!? – BP’s ‘Top Kill’ Effort to Plug Oil Spill in Gulf ‘Reportedly’ Working
This sure is great news this morning to wake up to, and no one is probably happier about this than Barack Hussein Obama, who’s presidency was going to hell just as quickly as our pristine, Gulf of Mexico was with this heavy crude pouring into our ocean. One which I wish we’d change the name of to the “Gulf of the USA” since we’re the one’s who maintain most of it, at least we do when our government, which is ‘charged with’ keeping their eyes on these people, isn’t at Washington Wizard games and Senators Baseball games in between watching porn and jerking us off as well, instead of doing what they’re supposed to be doing, which is ‘regulating’ this stuff, like the SEC and so on...
However, the Obama train wreck parading around as a ‘cogent government’ has claimed it’s premature to ‘claim any success’, which is an obvious CYA move, since that’s all Obama is good for.
That is, either ‘blaming’ George Bush or anyone he can for every problem he’s created for Americans 3 generations out, if not more in just 18 lousy months!!! He hasn’t taken ‘ownership’ of a single thing since becoming president, not a thing although he has tried to claim George Bush’s successes as his own as did ‘Scranton Joe” Biden in this “we saved Iraq” statement a while back.
In fact this may never have ‘spiraled’ out of control as it did had Obama Crime Inc. taken it ‘seriously’ from the outset which they ‘did not’, waiting as we all know ’8 days’ before even making any public statement and still has yet to even declare the gulf states “a state of emergency’, which president Bush would have been ‘excoriated’ for, like he was ‘everything else he did’, making Obama lo0k like the ‘inexperienced chump’ he is.
Lord almighty help us all through this train wreck with our country still intact.
Great news in any event and thank God they’re able to cap this disaster finally, although this is just a temporary fix until they can cement the thing shut forever. That is unless they use the same crappy cement they used to build these platforms word is coming out and especially the cement they use to make many of our roads that barely make it through a winter around here much less 5000 feet in deep ocean.
BP’s “top kill” operation halted the flow of oil and gas from the stricken Deepwater Horizon rig Thursday, according to U.S. Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen, cited in the Los Angeles Times.
Allen, who is coordinating the government response to the oil spill, said Thursday that engineers had succeeded in stopping the flow of oil and gas into the Gulf of Mexico from the BP well.
Allen said the engineers had pumped enough drilling fluid to block all oil and gas from the well. The pressure from the well was very low, but persists, he added.
If the risky procedure stops the flow, BP will then inject cement into the well to seal it. The top kill has worked above ground but has never before been tried 5,000 feet beneath the sea. BP pegged its chance of success at 60 to 70 percent.
“We’re doing everything we can to bring it to closure, and actually we’re executing this top kill job as efficiently and effectively as we can,” BP Chief Operating Officer Doug Suttles said.
