Air Force One Takes Obama On Joy Ride To South Bend Today
This is something that bothers me, every time some school or college wants Obama to appear at their this or that gathering he probably says yes to most of them just to pile the brood and tribe into Air Force One for a joyride at our expense.
Every little trip President Bush took for whatever reason was met with a wall of scrutiny from the MSM and leftward loonysphere, yet Obama has taken the ol’ Flying White House on more unneeded trips in the first four months than any previous president and I’d be willing to bet at $65,000 an hour far more expense than any previous as well.
Cost of today’s little trip, at 550 miles roughly $260-300,000 to make a 3 minute speech, pick up a questionable honorary doctorate and piss off roughly 70 million (minus obama supporting 1/2 Catholics) American Catholics all at once..
Too bad the once more prestigious ND didn’t feel the same way, a scar that will remain with the university forever and damage it’s credibility almost as long
