Meet The Author

Welcome to my second home on the web and thanks for reading, I appreciate it.  While this blog is fairly new, say January or so of this year I started really posting on it, but here you’ll find 4 years of expansive writing, posting, news related video and all kinds of original photoshop artwork that anyone’s welcome to cannibalize for our fight against the red plague which is pink right now but getting redder as the days go by under this Alinsky loving administration from Socialist hell.

Here’s a little about the man behind the blog here, that is  if your interested in how and why I got to be such a right wing, conservative over the years which started out as a full blown liberal for the most part, but fortunately I made a full recovery after I grew up at around 30 or so and some health problems likely created from my ‘burning candles at both ends’ lifestyle for 15 years after a warning ‘brain tumor at 21 years old college graduation which knocked me for a loop that year in 1987.

I’m a 45 year old suburban Chicagoan born and raised all over the east coast from White Plains New York, to Mahwah New Jersey, Charlottesville, Virginia, back to Chicago, to St Louis, back to Chicago, back to Charlottesville back to Chicago and back here since 1991, who has been employed in some capacity or another in Graphic Arts field my entire adult life after college in Charlottesville from 86-90 after screwing around for a couple years after high school, then adding a couple years (20).

Finally  leaving the day to day Printing and Publishing industry in 2003 after 10 years at the Chicago Tribune in a pre press and press operator capacity after developing Multiple Sclerosis, to then begin this life, around my 3rd one as an adult,  as a freelance Graphic Design professional utilizing my contacts and experience from the publishing industry along with  studio guitarist when work is available, specializing mostly in graphics for local printing and advertising firms again,  assembled from my 16 years in the Industry.

The blog here along with my original blogging home mentioned below contain original conservative writing and rants interspersed with energizing and satirical graphics designed by myself as  ” advertising” per se of my photoshop, Illustrating skills all wrapped in one package in one place. Its a decently read and trafficked blog that is this average professional Chicagoan’s take on our politics, culture and the rest of the f****d up world in general from my perch on the right.

It’s intended to be a more serious spinoff of my original effort that can be read at Chicagoray.blogspot.com which itself is an OK ranked, read and trafficked blog in it’s own right where I have been Blogging since March 2006 making a little cash now and then from it’s inception which has been kind of cool .  Not what I would like considering the effort but boo hoo huh?

FAVORITE MUSIC

I enjoy both listening to as well as playing all rock and roll music created  from it’s inception in the 1950′s through the end of the millennium for the most part. I am sad to report however I am not a fan AT ALL of today’s artists who barely deserve that title in my humble opinion. So I’m just one of those rock and roll old timers who prefers playing and listening to the music we all grew up with you can see on my Music page  I’m building on now that I’m walking again after some tenuous years spent in and out wheelchairs from the MS>

I’ve been a player and singer since 13 both professionally and casually, around 32 years,  and while still seeking that big break someday, we’ll keep the day job as we have throughout this long and winding road, just in case the rock and roll thing don’t pan out !  Hell this kid from my neighborhood just won American Idol here this Month of May, 2010. And he was working in a paint store down the road after quitting high school so proof anyone can make it in the entertainment industry with enough hard work and I’m a hard worker.

I particularly favor Southern rock and roll when performing but can listen to and play anything recorded from 1950 through 2000, anything of the rock genre. I however do not possess the same creative flair for writing music despite music theory training in college that I feel I do in the visual arts so and playing the music.

So  I’m  mostly limited to covers of the rock and roll I love the most. I’ve been re entering my former musical life as of late and you can follow my improvements at this page of the blog where I’ll be posting videos of myself playing from time to time if interested. You can see a couple video covers I made recently at this page since a somewhat miraculous recovery from crippling MS, which again left my left side partially paralyzed,  mostly in my leg and arm, so I’ve recovered enough to continue playing again, and while not as nimble as I once was walking or ambidextrously,  I still remember it all, it’s just slowly but surely re training my hand to do it again to my level of expectation.

We’re getting closer each day..

Favorite TV :

I am also a old timer when it come to television watching habits, favoring the old sitcoms of the All In The Family variety, back when political correctness didn’t exist. Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith Show, TV land stuff mostly when TV depicted the all American families and displayed some usefulness and respect for traditional values and practices.

Therefore today’s television is pure garbage as far as I’m concerned, I refuse to watch the networks due to their obvious disdain and pure disrespect for Christians and the white male and their patronage to liberalism and non traditional families as well as the glorification of violence, rapping culture and homosexuality which I happen to be opposed of I’m sure you’ve gathered just from a quick glance of the content so sorry if you’re offended by that, I’m offended by that. So there.  I don’t need it and don’t want it beamed into my home, thank you. In your own lives and homes that’s between you and God. Not my business, so don’t make it mine is my policy and that subject.

So today I stick mostly with cable  news, where I control the programming when not watching news related programming on Fox News or the other ‘obama leaning’ versions of the news propaganda offered on CNN, MSNBC and the alphabet channels to stay abreast of the liberal way of thinking so I can someday understand what causes the illness to propagate through American culture so I can help stamp it out when I see it.

Favorite Movies:

Anything made by or containing Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Robert Deniro, John Travolta, Robin Williams, Michael J Fox Richard Gere of old, before he became so political, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, Gary Sinise, Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, Tom Cruise before Scientology, James Earl Jones, Samuel L Jackson for starters.

I enjoy paying only to see just good old fashioned men being men with old fashioned women, all of whom are apolitical who are not effected by the lunatic liberalism that has turned Hollywood into the cesspool of homosexuality and rabid anti Americanism it now represents

They are churning out garbage piled on top of more garbage, representing anything and everything that now contributes to the denigration and destruction of our once wholesome society that today is becoming modern day Sodom and Gomorrah,

leading to the eventual breakdown of the country altogether thanks to this loose living propaganda being generated by the liberal dominated industry with Woodstock era baby boomers intent on creating another generation of mopes and “rebels” spitting and pissing on anything and everything that represents patriotism and authority.

Favorite Books

Most recently only conservative offerings, Michael Savage and his complete library, Laura Ingraham Shut up and sing, Anne Coulter If liberals had brains they’d be conservatives, Bill O’Reilly Culture Warrior and, Patrick Buchanan’s Day of Reckoning this year so far…..mostly stuff the NY Slimes won’t review or liberals would love to burn or ban if they could. Frankly I have to admit since the advent of the internet I do not read books other than for information about a person in this conservative movement or the Anti terrorism movement. The rest I gather here in between my graphics work for that day which is usually every day, all month all year.

The way I look at it is, if you can’t put in 20 hours a day doing something as physically untaxing as this there’s a “problem Houston”.

However I’m not married and have no children so I have more control over my life than most adults, has it’s good points and bad points of course, but, that’s the way it is.
